FEEL AT HOME….BUT WITH A GORGEOUS VIEW OVER THE SEA!
RTA Marina di Salivoli offers apartments of different shape but with perfect comfort in all of them; an ideal place to spend a holiday at the seaside with friends, as a couple or with a family.
The marvelous Etruscan Coast will satisfy also visitors hard to please. You can find rocky beaches, small bays, long sandy beaches with fine clear sand. Some beaches with free access, some very well equipped. They all have one thing in common: you will find clear, fresh sea water that will let you spend relaxing, pleasant days at the beach.
THE CALA MORESCA BEACH
Access also for guests with a handicap
Small bay with rough sand and gravel that interrupts a high rocky coast sprinkled with Mediterranean vegetation. Young local people like this place best; often very crowded during the whole week.
The beach is 3 km from the City center from where public bus no 3 and 2A drive to Cala Moresca.
From the parking area above the bay a small paved path leads down to the beach, a 5 minutes walk, or you go by bicycle. There is a restaurant/bar (open also in winter) and some beach facilities.
It is the only beach with easy access by car. You will see parents with small children there in the morning, teenagers and young people in the afternoon. It is a small beach but there are beach facilities, a good restaurant and a tourist harbor, all well equipped.
THE BEACHES OF THE COST RESERVE “LA STERPAIA”
Some km away from the Residence, in the gulf between Follonica and Piombino, you will find the Coast Reserve La Sterpaia: extended fine sandy beaches, very recommended for families and for those who like to spend a day in pure nature surrounded by clear water and pine tree forests, the typical landscape of the Maremma Coast.
In the reserve there are public picnic areas with free access.
So you can enjoy your meal in the shadow of pine trees; if you prefer equipped beaches you will find beach facilities, bars and restaurants as well.
Access to the various beaches from numerous parking areas along the Geodetica street that leads from Piombino to Follonica.
