Bike Tour and Wine Tasting at Poggio Rosso estate<\/h3>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]With your e-bike and your guide we cross the Rimigliano coastal park<\/strong> with its centuries-old pine forest, a stretch of cliff overlooking the sea, a beautiful meadow and the splendid gulf of Baratti Tenuta Poggio Rosso<\/strong> is just behind the hill close to the Gulf of Baratti. From the panoramic point of the vineyard it is possible to see the “Two Seas”<\/strong>, the one to the north of Piombino and the one to the south.<\/p>\n

The hill on which Tenuta Poggiorosso is located dates back to 24-36 million years ago and is made up of marl from the promontory and the red\/orange sands of Donoratico which give its name to the Poggio Rosso estate.<\/p>\n

The varieties of Merlot, Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Vermentino and Viognier are planted here.<\/p>\n

These vines manage to convey unique characteristics of flavor and territoriality due to the particular position influenced by the proximity of the sea and constant winds.<\/p>\n

At Tenuta Poggiorosso you will taste some of the estate’s wines + light lunch.<\/p>\n
