Sassetta is a very small village of 400 inhabitants born around 1100 on top of a hill.
We are located in the northernmost part of the Tuscan Maremma and are completely outside the best-known and most frequented circuits by mass tourism. Precisely this makes Sassetta a very fascinating place both for the lush and wild nature and for the strong traditions still present and which closely link man and this land here You meet stonemasons, charcoal burners, woodcutters, artisans who tell stories of the forest, of the chestnut trees, animal stories, hunting stories.
The tour runs along the woods of the Poggio Neri Forest Park and here it will be possible to come into close contact with nature, listen to its sounds and dive into its scents.
